What is exactly real estate value engineering.

Every square foot available in a real estate has a potential value that can be derived by intelligent design. The are various dimensions in which value engineering works.

First dimension in physical square footage available. The square footage in horizontal direction is captive piece of land available.

The second dimension is the additional square footage available by vertical construction of the building floors.

The third dimension is time. It is about how the value compounds over time by implementing and running efficient systems.

The fourth dimension is the efficiency of the systems that run in that particular piece of real estate. The efficiency comes from efficient human resource planning, efficient use of technological assets as well as overall preventive maintenance procedures that increase the longevity of assets.
